Shanghai QF: [2] Novak Djokovic overpowers Tommy Haas 6-3 6-3

Well, Haas just couldn't produce enough game to make the difference against the Serbian #1's brilliant power defense. It was a good match though. Quite spectacular at times. Haas fought to the end.

Haas was never going to get enough free points against Nole in that form. He still hit some insane backhands though.

Nole impenetrable. Haasi gave his all, but besides some poor points at *2-0 up there wasn't a lot he did wrong.

Same score with Mugpez but I bet Haas played much better. Djokovic was crazy good

19-15
Federer & Djokovic
SUPERIOR.

Poor serving from Nole compared with other matches he played here, but otherwise can't complain, another SF

Haas probably played as well as he could in those tight deuce games. The World No.1 just too good at the moment. Surely he is the man to beat from now on.

Re: Shanghai QF: [2] Novak Djokovic overpowers Tommy Haas 6-3 6-3

Djokovic served well, but he always in control of the match. Haas played well and helped make it very entertaining. Haas and Stepanek even though they lost showed today, they have some variety.

On this performance Berdych isn't hitting through Djokovic at all.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Djokovic plays well enough to make it competetive against Fed. Good for the game.
