That loss in R4 of RG really hurt Berdie. He probably stood a very good chance against Roger in Paris.
As for YE #5, I think his ability to choke to the active top 4 will be his undoing. He won't come out of the groups.
I think he'd have beaten Federer, but in terms of matchups at this point in time it is:
Federer > Del Potro > Berdych > Federer > Del Potro
*Berdych > Federer solely based on Tomas winning their last two Slam matches, overall H2H still hightly favorable to Federer.
Food for thought for those who keep denying the existance of matchups in tennis. Federer loses vs Berdych in Slams, but Berdych can't beat Del Potro, who in turn is almost hopeless against Federer.
