Horrible match from both, just too many unforced errors. Verdasco was the less worse player.

Good win for Verdasco, with Cilic in next round he has opportunity to go deeper in tournament and earn points. This match was how it was supposed to be Verdasco playing attacking tennis and Monaco just staying in rallies, Verdasco is favorit on HC vs guys like Monaco so good for him he was able to proove it on the court.

With the right state of mind on court, this amount of games is about the max. Verdasco should be losing against a player like Monaco despite what the rankings have to say. Great result.

Yes. Only won 1 match there prior to this year.

Federer will win another grand slam.
Cilic is not a one slam wonder.

Monaco, Almagro both lose early. Great chance for Gasquet to end the year in top 10

He should worry about Raonic more than Monaco or Almagro.
