Re: How high can Nishikori get in the rankings in his career?

As much as I love Kei, I don't really see him inside the top 3 due to his physical and health challenges. Given that, I predict that he might get to No.4 at the most, and that is already a stretch. It doesn't mean he can't win a slam though. A few years from now when the current top 4 deteriorates, Kei just might snatch a slam ala vulture style.

To the future!

Nishikori, Berankis, Raonic, Kuznetsov, Dimitrov, Coric

Re: How high can Nishikori get in the rankings in his career?

Top 8 is certainly a reasonable expectation, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pop into the top 5 at some point if he can stay healthy given the expected player shuffle over the next few years.

While I reckon he lacks the size to become a true elite player, he'll be a Top 10 regular and will hit the Top 5.

RIP Henry Chinaski. A true MTF legend

Well, he just beat Raonic in a final. So by bandwagon theories, he's obviously going to reach #1 and have...lets say....13 grand slams.

Very good-to-great but never elite.
