Well done, Kei. Another ridiculous knee-jerk reaction from some towards Raonic. He will be a serious contender in the future. And while the goons on here will go on about "Raotards" or something equally stupid, his fans on here generally seem to be realistic and show respect, unlike the fools that target a developing player after each and every loss.

Poor movement exposed. Milos thought he'd done enough when he fluked it out against the golden boy. Nishi had other ideas. Great result for tennis, this.

Having said that, Nishikori is someone that can generally be regarded as a "just below average" with his 1.78m hight. Certainly not a real shorty short person that justifies the dismissive sneer he got at the hands of Sky sports commentators (and the English have no right to mock someone's height anyway as I can personally attest they are on average the shortest people on this continent outside some southern/Mediterranean regions

He is short for a tennis player though.

IMO short for tennis should be 1.75 and below

Kei is 1.78, hence tall enough.

Ferrer, a relatively constant top 10 is 1.75, and he's at the limit, Kei is totally O Kei

What on earth are you talking about?

The average heights are as follows:

top 10: 187cm
top 50: 187cm

There's only one shorter player in the top 50 and that's Ferrer. The fact is, he is indeed short for a professional tennis player and I'd class him as below average in every day life.

A bagel

This would've been the result yesterday had Murray played well, except without the second set and without a tiebreak.

ANDY MURRAY

MASTERS: 11 WINS, 5 finals, 11 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
WTF: 3 semi-finals...

MATCH WIN/LOSS: 558-166...
TITLES: 35 and counting...

Kei winning is a result that makes all MTF fanbases come together. Good for the game, good for the forum.

Great week for Milos as well

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Here's a tip. Don't regret nothin'. You ain't got the time. Before you know it, you'll be 60 something years old giving free advice to some cheapskate runt... Then going home and regretting it.

Coming from the big man himself:

“He just played too well. There’s not too much I could do,” said Raonic. “He played better than me and deserved to win. [In the third set], he started playing well, was reading me a bit more, and a few mistakes starting coming from me.”

Let us all take a moment and remember that Cilic destroyed this very same Nishikori at the USO.
