He's beaten Murray twice now in close matches, Tipsarevic too.

Do you actually think Murray choked here?

Yes he played some big points badly but that was not down to choking. The guy just bet Djokovic in the 5th set of US open final and you think he'd choke in the SF of small tournament against a much inferior player who has achieved nothing of significance?

LOL @ everyone predicting Andy's fall based on one match. There's gonna be a lot of head-scratching in Australia, no doubt about it.
Raonic just proved what has been obvious for some time to all but haters - he is a future GS champion, barring some big injury. If he keeps improving like this, he might even do it while the big guns are still around.

Mandy fans shouldn't be complaining. He's got a slam for Gods sake. What more do you want?

Don't think any Murray fans are complaining. As you said he is a grand slam champion, who cares about MM tournaments?

Disappointed for Andy - he had his chances, including a second serve on MP given to him by a DF and he put a regulation backhand long.

Still, Milos played a fabulous match, mentally as tough as I think I have ever seen him, and in the end edged it out, and perhaps deservedly so. Andy was a break up in the third set and a poor game threw that away. Andy was too up and down, while Milos stayed at a very high level all match. That consistency told in the end.

Wow, good one Moilos, there is hope for the new generation after all

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Funnily enough, knowing Andy is Olympic and US Open champion makes a defeat in a SF of a 500 easier to swallow. Mustn't be greedy.

Think about world #1 man, it definitely is something he could reach if he would win stuff like this and with Nadal out for so long.

Yep, these tournaments mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Let's wait for Sapeod's reply. He talked some big words in that WWW thread, and other threads where he said he will be unbeatable in Tokyo this year no matter how badly he plays.
