I got that you weren't being serious but you said the only way murray would lose would be him not showing up and even then he'd win.

So the only way for him to lose ends up with him winning.

Guess murray's destined to win Shanghai.

MonoFed was in the first half of 2008. Wawrinka's win was in MC in 2009.

I do miss the days when people would type out the draw properly in a draw thread and post it in the first post.

Sapeod would have agreed with me. Now when he finds out I was being sarcastic, I'll get another bad rep from him

Long-term effects

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Dimitrov - Chardy - Berdych

Not a bad draw for Soeda. Verdasco then probably Monaco.

Hoping for Kohly or Haas to take out Djokovic before SF.

Re: Shanghai Draw - in post #1

Murray in Roger´s half, so Nole should make F easily, i would say Berdych is some danger, but after his loss to Nishikori and his H2H vs Nole and the way he is playing in Beijing if they met Nole will crush him. Raonic-Tsonga possible match - i hope both make it it will be good match and we will see how good Milos is at the moment after Murray´s test another top player with different gamestyle than Murray.

I predict Nole will win Shanghai in F vs Roger or Andy. Also want to see if Isner is back, if he is healthy what he can show us in Shanghai.

I was happy that Tomas will have top 4 seed i think many guys were happy for Tomas that he should at least make SF with his own quarter but his draw is riddicolously hard i mean he will play probably Nishikori just few days after he was bossed by him in Tokyo and even if he defeats him than either Tsonga-hardest among 5-8 seeded for sure or Raonic-possible Tokyo champion just like Nishikori also Milos defeated him few weeks ago in Canada i think

Djokovic is obviously the favorite, Haas took a set from Djokovic in one of Djokovic's favorite tournaments so I dont think it is a good idea to go on with the arrogant Nole fan attitude just because it is a 34 year old at the other side of the net.

Havent you guys learned anything this season? Arrogant attitude before the Federer and Murray slam matches really hit back at you.

Yes this was glowing at me from computer when i saw 1st time draw. I don´t know if the organizers just want to punish Berdych for beating Fed at USO or just want to stop japanese guy to go far - because of current tensions, but this quarter is unbelievable, i mean 3 guys who are playing F at tournaments leading to Shanghai this week + 4th guy who is highest seeded there and finally got his own quarter and i was hoping he should make at least SF but with this draw it is very open section

hey now, I'm not arrogant, I was just j/k, although Nole does have a pretty easy path to the final. doubt that Tommy can hurt Nole on this type of HC, but sure everything is possible

Boring draw. As long as King Roger wins, and Michi Berrer qualifies and wins at least one match, nothing else matters.

Indeed. Three of this week's four finalists - Kei, Milos and Jo - and Berdych. Just hope that whoever makes the semis out of these 4 is fresh enough to be more than cannon fodder for Novak in the semis.
