Acually there's one ATP World Tour 750 event that's held once in four years.

Stan Wawrinka
2014 Australian Open Champion | 2014 Monte Carlo Masters Champion | 2015 French Open Champion

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
2008 Paris Masters Champion | 2014 Toronto Masters Champion

Sorry man, but Kei is a much better player than Boredo on any surface, and far more talented too. He's the best player of the post Del Potro/Cilic generation/age group imo and will show it in the coming years (provided he stops getting injured all the time of course).

It'd be adequate for a 500 SF/F. For a 500 QF it seems too strong to me, especially with matches like Bagdathis vs Tursunov taking place in the same round.

Re: Tokyo QF WWW: Tomas Berdych vs Kei Nishikori

lenders has an excellent point, if badly worded

it's like having two dangerous, exciting players meet in the early rounds of a slam due to seedings - that match is probably more 4R/QF level match

Yup, in a Slam this would be a R4 level match, a very good R4 at that. Kei has been injury free in the last few months so hope that continues and he gets his ranking up high enough to avoid matches like this so early in a 500 tournament soon

nishikori isn't going to be a future slam champion i think

however, he can have some good runs in slams, definitely win some 500s at least
