Excellent win.

Although kind of lucky to draw another Chinese wild card in the first round this year and last year as well.

It was just Gasquet being Gasquet--every time you think he is going to get on a roll it just doesn't happen

Richard didn't play that bad actually. Zhang has a pretty good game.

Expected. Thought Drugsquet would throw in the towel sooner or later in this tourney. This Zhang ain't bad, but he lacks consistency.

Gasquet will probably win a slam. Might lose to Hrbaty making a comeback the following week, but he'll probably win a slam.

Exciting result for Zhang Ze and Chinese Tennis. The guy lost in straights to a 19 year old Korean in challengers last week, making this result even more surprising

So I was recently informed that my signature was empty and needed a life affirming quote from an inspirational figure like Shakespeare or Oscar Wilde...

When I die my mates had better not tweet some cheesy crap like I'm watching over them or some jazz. Watch your train-wreck lives? I'll take my chances in hell.

Re: Beijing R2: Zhang def. Gasquet 6-4 3-6 6-4

Zhang Ze's coach is Guillaume Peyre ... former Gasquet's coach (until the cocain case - Peyre was fired because he had not enough protected Gasquet if I remember well, sweet revenge for him maybe).

Zhang Ze's words : "My coach knows his weakness better than anybody, his backhand is not that sstrong but anyway, it's much better than his forehand, then I had a lot of possibilities to control the rally. I put everything to his forehand"
