“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Oh hey, Im a celebrity!

Didnt get the opportunity to watch the match. How did they play?

Also, this is a good result for the game. The great sport of tennis needs a Raonic-Tipsarevic match on relatively hard courts. I actually hate Simon more than Tipsarevic, but I argued in the last thread to prove a point...

FEDERER
KARLOVIC

RAONIC

AND ALL OTHER SERVEBOTS

SERVEBOTS ARE TENNIS

One can assume that the pain became too much for simon as his serving numbers after first set were terrible. Good win for janko, but doesn't seem like he is in the greatest forms from what i saw last week.

Of course.

Anyway, good for Tipsy. Surprising too, probably. They are 2-2 now this year.

No idea, it was too early for my timezone, don't think there'll be many reports. Stats look pretty shaky, lots of BPs.

No streams. Doubt anyone watched it.
On the scoreboard it looked like a grindfest. I am sure a couple of games were over 10 minutes (or my scoreboard was stuck ). Nice for Tipsy to get this win, as he really seems to struggle against Gilles.

Re: Tokyo R1 [3] J Tipsarevic d G Simon 4-6 6-3 6-1

There was again no stream right? i couldn´t find anything, stupid Tokyo, even challengers are on internet streams, but Tokyo still nothing. Was expecting that Tipsy can have bigger chance this time, SImon wasn´t 100% healthy vs Gasquet + he said himself he played perfectly vs Janko so hard to imagine him to play again at such high level, but according to statiscisc, more likely after 1st set, Simon´s serve decreased-shoulder issues i think, but he has like million BP´s on Janko´s serve all the time...

As I said if Janko plays well Simon is a non-factor. And in the last two sets he plays well.
