He's now a clear fave in one slam, a genuine contender in another and one of the challengers in the other two. He's fine.
I think he is clear and big favorite on every slam bar wimbledon

Roland Garros?

Even US Open - he has 1 slam. So does Murray. So does Nadal. So does Del Potro. Sure he's made more finals than them but he's hardly shown he's unbeatable there. Even if he's given US Open he's not a favourite at RG or Wimbledon. The top challenger after Nadal? Yes. Favourite? No.

I'm a fan and I think it's been an incredible year. I just hope he can replicate it next year, but winning another slams will be really tough..

In USO he will always be biggest fav with Olderer, they are best HCs in the world. Nadal...just no, and Mugray well, lets see how he will defend it. At RG Nadal cannot constantly win titles till he is 40, and after him Novak has biggest shot.

Re: Honest assessment of Novak's year by his fans

It was going to be hard for him after his 2011 season which was one of the best seasons by any player ever. I think that run for 4 straight and the loss in Paris had an effect on the grass, but he has still played well. He has been the most consistent player this year, and if he plays the way he is capable of should finish year end #1.

How many titles will Djokovic defend in 2012?

You are welcome.

Novak can't constantly keep making US Open finals only to lose them till he's 40 either. Maybe next year he'll lose early? Nadal clearly not a favourite at US Open - Murray is up there though - matches well with Novak on fast HC, made 2 finals vs Novak's 4 but better conversion rate of 50%, key issue was mental not the game.

Until Nadal shows decline on clay, which he hasn't yet, he's still the favourite there. And by a significant margin.

Was that a No2etard commenting on another player's ability to defend titles?

Go post on Olderer forum or something, ppl would think you are inlove in Nole, 70% your posts involve him. Not even biggest Noletards carry that obessesion as you do.

Nadal is huge favorite for RG ofc, and if he plays at his best no one will be even close, but behind him is Nole and that makes him a fav too, maybe next year Nadal crushes early too at RG? Its possibile, not likely but it is...

Similar to Roger's 2008 year. Good but not great year. The Serbian has started declining this year like Federer in 2008 and Nadal in 2011.

He won the USO on his third attempt. Maybe he will win RG on his third attempt? He is definitely better on the USO HC than on the RG clay where he only has one final. He won Wimbledon on his first attempt like at the AO. I think he will lose another RG final before finally winning there. Reminds me of Agassi.

The only slam where Djokovic is the favorite is at the AO.
