I don't believe in luck when it comes to sport. I think he is just mentally tougher than most other players right now and that's why he has an excellent tie break record this season.

Okay. Well if you choose not to believe that a letcord on matchpoint, for example, is a tad lucky, then that's up to you

A let on MP still has to be struck. So if the ball goes over the net, you must have done it correctly.

Let's just agree to disagree.

Good work Slamray.

It's like being a free spirit following him now, knowing he has achieved the ultimate prize in the sport and being able to watch his matches in a relaxed, almost stoned (not literally) way.

Djokovic is not making a comeback as TB king anytime soon, it seems. He just lost one to Berrer (!) Won the match easy enough in three, but still.....that takes him down to 12-11 this year. And last year he was the first #1 ever to finish the season with more TBs lost than won (9-10).

This match was NID, unlike the stunt that Nole just pulled.

Of course there is a lot of luck involved. Mental toughness plays a huge part, but for every shot you hit on the court, there is a chance you will miss. True, the best players are more likely to make their shots when push comes to shove, and the lower ranked players will miss more often in tough situations. Still Nadal has DFed on set points, and Sharkko has hit winners on MP.

routine day at the office for the northerner

always finds it easy versus the big servers

he built up rage from being mucked around by the organisers and unleashed it on the serve machine

asia is his turf, everyone in fear of his aura
