His defeat to Serra at Wimbledon still makes me cry.

At least he's losing sets now.

Is he playing next week?

Believe he's taking a rest.

He's lost a set in two of his last three matches this week prior to the final...beat Marcan 7-6 in the third and scrapped past Nedovesov after winning the second set 7-6(5).

he seemed exhausted all week and managed to get the title

some choking helped him as well (see Nedoyevtsov)

Moscow wildcard on the cards? It has been ages since he played on hard though.

Moscow courts are extremely slow.

He's spent most of the last 3 weeks playing guys ranked in the low 100s to 300 range. In fact the only top 100 player he has faced in these Challengers is Lorenzi who isn't exactly a world beater at the best of times and retired injured in that match.

I've not been impressed by Kuznetsov so far and he has looked out of his depth when facing higher ranked players. He only managed to win 4 games against Verdasco and even Kavcic and Volandri beat him in straight sets.
