Did No2e (or anyone) say it was too dark in that semi in '11? I can't remember. It certainly was very dark for tennis in 08 final though, as represented by the near pitch black conditions 15 minutes after MP with Nadal getting photographed on court.

Why does the clay court speed of RG 2009 matter if the only reason Nadal lost was bc he was injured?

Only a Nadaltard. Nadal is the biggest overachiever in the history of the sport.

Clinic? How dumb are you? MTwEeZi is just talking his usual irrelevant nonsense.

No Fedtard has ever said that Wimbledon 09 was fast (Wimbledon has been comparetively slow since 2001) or that RG is the same speed now as it was in the nineties. So much for the "mirror" talk.

Nah, Rafatards are worse. They can't smile.
You're not a Rafatard, just a huuuge fan.

Rafatards are just stupid and agressive, same as Fedtards, the difference is, their "peak" is so much annoying, in 2010 you just couldn't enter MTF without a fight.

I agree, Fedtards SUCK, and are one of the multiple big problems of this forums, but what you're saying isn't true.

At least with Fedtards and Noletrolls they don't come up with injury excuses for every loss....

That's Fedhaters you talk about.

Fedtards are WAY worse than Rafatards because they literally worship Federer. That is why their hatred of Nadal is unreasonable and unlimited.

I dislike Baldal but you're exaggerating.

Federer will win another grand slam.
Cilic is not a one slam wonder.

Re: Is Rafael Nadal Parera an underachiever?

clearly

wouldn't be winning slams on the fast 1890s grass

wouldn't be sniffing an RG either, clay too slow

playing in a mug era of slow courts aided by technology

Underachiever. Nadal has talent to win 20 slams. In fact his mental strength is quite overrated. He has choked away quite a few slams in his career

I was seeking a technical explanation of why Nadal is better defensively than Nole.

I reckon Nadal has better passing shots, is that enough? Or is it that he just makes too few errors which compensates his weaker returns compared to Nole's?

Or does Nadal have some great tactical plan of where to send the ball knowing where to defend next, which also compensates for the moonballing?

Only 2 really - had real chances to win Wimby 07 and Aus Open 12. Wimby 11 was a disaster from the start - never seemed there so that was more a disgrace to let Novak win a slam on grass but other than that don't think he necessarily choked when it came to many slam losses. Could have been at 13/14 at best by now. Then again, he also could have lost Aus Open 09 and Wimby 08 so it all balances out in the end...

As for the thread, it's a bit of a joke. 11 slams - count them.
