I went last year and had a mixed time. I flew in for one day for the chance to see Roger, who I was dying to see. I got my wish (yea!), but he played JC and it was not a great match and didn't last long. By that time JC already knew he could not make the semis, and to me he didn't seem to trying very hard (a downside of the round-robin format).
I bought my ticket pretty late, so I wound up in the very last row of the bleachers. I didn't expect to have a great view, but I did have a great view -- of a metal railing that ran in front of one of the lower rows. This railing pretty much obscured the whole view of the court. The only way you could see was if you hunched over, which was real uncomfortable, or if you stood up. That was a little dangerous, though, because there was no back to the last row and a 4-5 foot drop behind it. Also, to get up there you had to climb these temporary stairs that really didn't seem all that sturdy. I agree with some of the criticism last year that the facility really isn't worthy of this prestigious tournament. I went to the Nasdaq 100 earlier this year, and that stadium was wonderful by comparison.
I still envy you for getting to go though! Especially since it will be out of the US for at least the next couple of years. Hope you have a great time and get to see Tim! (I also hope you have a better seat than I had
