Who are you hoping will make a fresh start in 2005?

There were a lot of players this season who either were bugged by injuries or just never reached their best form consistently. Im hoping players like David Nalbandian (the Mauresmo of the ATP), Schuettler, Clement, Kuerten, Grosjean, Ferrero, Nieminen and Gambill (even tho he's totally hopeless ) can make fresh starts next year.

cmon guys, do us proud in 2005!!!!

Andy Murray ~ Richard Gasquet ***David Nalbandian*** Rafael Nadal ~ Gilles Simon
Paw Ranking (Race) : ? (?)
Brought PAW to MTF in 2004
Year end no. 1 in 2012

PAW Titles : 9 (WIMBLEDON '12, Washington '11, Acapulco '08, Stockholm '07, Houston '05, Monte Carlo TMS '04, Newport '04, Beijing '04, Moscow '04)
Finalist: 15 (Buenos Aires '12, Stockholm '11, Barcelona '11, Queen's 09, Nottingham '08, Las Vegas '08, Adelaide '08, Tokyo '06, St Poelten '06, Australian Open '05, St Poelten '05, Newport '05, Wimbledon '04, Houston '04, Basel '04)

Nalbandian ended this year fairly well, all things considered. I would like to see Ferrero string more than two matches in a row again.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Guga
Calleri
Chela

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Well, Guga for sure.

Joachim .... cause his year ended on a bit of a down note
Coria ... for obvious reasons
Andy .... cause I think he didn't fulfill his real potential this year
Juan Carlos ... I feel so bad for him this year.

Guga--he hasn't been the same for years...

Juan Carlos--he was soooo disappointing this year; every time he seemed to get his act together, he would fall off...

MONICA

Jesus answered and said to him[Nicodemus, a Pharisee],"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again[of the Spirit/above], he cannot see the kingdom of God."--John 3:3

TRANSLATION---Good works CANNOT save you from hell! Turn your live to Jesus. He wants to develop a relationship with you today!

I will worship Jesus forever!

Go Monica and Guga!!

Re: Who are you hoping will make a fresh start in 2005?

Most of all, I hope Kiefer starts fresh into the new year best would be if he started even better than he ended 2004

Yeah, Rainer also needs a fresh year 2005!!! COME ON!

And of course, Coria! I'm not his biggest fan, but I admire him for his fighting spirit and for trying to improve all the time on all surfaces and for getting so many good results on hardcourt and grass. AWESOME! He is among the best tennis players and belongs on the tour. My unrestrained credits go to him for what he has achieved despite all his injury problems

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

I agree with Neely... Kiefer was on a great run till he got hurt in the Open... I think Kiefer is gonna be fantastic in 2005. And yes, Rainer needs a fresh start.

nadal | roddick | tsonga | verdasco | gasquet | kiefer

As a player who likes playing indoor, he could have been a mighty FORCE during indoor season in his great form

Re: Who are you hoping will make a fresh start in 2005?

I wish every player who was out injured a great fresh start in 2005.
I'll give two players who haven't been mentioned yet a place in the spotlight.
Sjeng Schalken hasn't been able to play consistently since Roland Garros, suffering from Pfeiffers disease.
Martin Verkerk won't return until April next year due to a shoulder injury. Hopefully he can present himself to the world again at Roland Garros 2005!
All the best to these two, and everybody else mentioned in this thread!

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....
