St Petersburg R1 : Žemlja def. Lacko 6-3 6-2

Solid from Žemlja continuing his good run of late and Lacko was disinterested at best.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: St Petersburg R1 : Žemlja def. Lacko 6-3 6-2

Zemlja did nothing special, he was only throwing the ball over the net and waiting, as he always does... He is one hell of boring player, but OK, I´m not interested in him at all.

Thing is that Lacko is just soo awful, no serve, no emotions, no confidence, no movement, no groundstrokes. One awful error after another and after another... 46% of first serves and very poor quality of 1st serves also. He needs psychologist or at least one longer break. He´s a complete walking bye now. So sad. He doesn´t belong to top 100 now, not even close. And he´s ranked 57, that´s ridiculous. At least Klizan is making Slovakian tennis look better.

Zemlja did really nothing, Lacko is shameful. 8 straight loses. Without grass matches - 14 straight loses.

Lacko totally destroyed his good signs from start of the year. But the problem is - lack of training, nothing more. He just don't care.

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem

So true post. Zemlja has good form recently, but he not very good player overall. But Lacko would lose to Serena Williams today. Not today, these days. Waiting for another 1st round exit at Kuala Lumpur and Beijing/Tokyo.

As funny as it seems, Sousa at least played some good tennis there. That was probably one of the "better" matches that Lacko played in this losing streak. He was still bad vs Sousa, but not as bad as he was today. Not even close. Zemlja got it absolutely for free, Lacko´s performance was pure joke, absolutely horrific. Disgusting, embarrassing, just awful tennis. Hopefully Zemlja won´t get another gifts like this and someone will kick him away, because I don´t like boring players like him. Throwing the ball over the net into the middle shouldn´t be enough for top 100, but it is clearly enough. Sadly.
