I'll start with congratulations Andy Murray.

That final was absolutely dire, though IMO.

Endless baseline rallies, with unimpressive depth and width throughout. Occasionally Murray's BH had good depth but that was pretty much it, as well as some clutch serving. Most times either went for a line, they missed but about a metre. Just rally after rally of ground strokes up the middle, bouncing around the service line until someone missed. Unable to generate any real pace, either of them. Unimpressed.

But congrats, Andy.

Murray finally gets his Slam.

No comeback for Nole today. No lucky shots down MPs.

Fed 300 weeks at #1 getting closer and closer.

Schweni

Lahm

Kroos :fuck you:

Will people finally admit Nole's peak form was late 2007 to early 2008 now?

Let’s all take a moment to review Nole fan’s sig over this past year:

“I see you Laver”- meaning Nole would win the Calendar Grand Slam

“Time to eat more grass”- meaning Nole would win Wimbledon

“Golden boy”- meaning Nole would win the Olympics

“Undisputed King of Hardcourts”- LMFAO

lol

Finally!

EDIT: Conditions really tipped the tight balance here. Djoko is normally more secure breaking open their grinding points, but the wind made that riskier enough to matter. At least 50% of their points had to consist of mid-pace points well away from the lines and Murray is a master of drawing the error in those kind of rallies. Good on him to adjust as soon as Nole adjusted and add pace or spin or angle where needed. Even when he lost games and sets he and the wind had still worn Nole down by the 5th.

...

<---"Espera. ¿Dónde están?"

Always on the lookout for a great tennis match.

no nadal didn't face federer and gets to play an injured 50% djokovic and still gets taken 5 sets to win no credibility earned with this "win" in the wind

the big 3 remain intact unless were now counting 1 slam wonders?

tennis lost today...shame!
