One major i'm sure he will never win is Wimby..but I definitely like his chances in RG even against Rafa..providing he plays his top tennis...he can blow anyone off court...that 09 US semi was a treat for me..

I used to be your everyday average Joe. Then one day some guy told me I can do whatever I set my heart on. So I tried to fly, and failed. He then told me that there are limitations in life and that I should be more modest in my aspirations. So I robbed a convenience store and got arrested. He then told me not to take everything people say literally, and to use my own initiative. So I became a Trump supporter, and am politely asking you to leave my country.

Re: Del Potro will never win a slam again.

He's most likely going to play at least another 24 slams, no way that things don't line up and he doesn't win at least one of them.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

If Cilic and Nishikori can make a Slam Final, I'm sure Del Potro will have his chances.

If he makes a final and faces Kei or Marin, then yes.

If he comes back at a decent level he will.

Re: Del Potro will never win a slam again.

If he is able to stay consistently healthy then he can win but he has not been able to stay healthy since 2009. He is still around the same age as "youngsters" like Nishikori and Cilic and only a little older than Dimugtrov and Muglos so who knows.

Re: Del Potro will never win a slam again.

Impossible to tell right now, we have to wait how he comes back to the tour.

With that said, del Potro is a vastly superior tennis player to Wawrinka (who won AO), Cilic and Nishikori (one of them will win a Slam tomorrow, and both will play the final), so if he returns at a decent level you have to say there's a very good chance he could win another one. It's not like the top of the game is getting stronger or anything.

I like your use of the word "IF". Yes, he is consistently injured and consistently absent from the ATP tour.

9-3 9-4 7-2 Now, who's the GOAT?
