Most people who know tennis have opinion that he did not try in the third set.

... and they are entitled to their opinion just as PiggyGotRoasted and others are entitled to theirs. Not sure why that is so complicated for you to understand.

tomic hasn't had a good year considering the expectations but hes still the most promising aussie player by far. his attitude could use some improvement and so does his game. however, he still does have one of the most interesting games in the top 100 and as such is a great guy to watch.

would be interesting to see which players rafter and masur would like to play DC if not for tomic. they should STFU in my humble opinion.
Tomic good to watch? he has the ugliest and most unattractive style in the sport.

He is young, many young players are notorious for having a mental lapse when things get so one-sided they get really discouraged and that is what happened with him and Roddick.

1999 Delray Beach(Outdoor/Clay)
1998 Adelaide

and how many tournament has Tomic won?
Big fat zero.
1998 IS 15 years ago That's why I said 15, the best since Hewitt.

His game is more attractive to watch than the games of all 3 players in your sig combined.

You wish. He'll be lucky to make it into the top 20 at this rate.

If he changes his attitude completely by that time, then you will only reaffirm these threads. With this attitude he's not going to win anything big most likely.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

HUH?

I was addressing your post only (and I did not address anyone else's post), when you said that Bernie tried, as if it were a fact.

Urmm... no.. in 2000, Hewitt was still at Tomic's age (19), and 2000 was not 15 years ago.

And by the way, 1998 was 14 years ago.

that didn't stop you from supporting hewitt. but it's understandable given i take the guess that hewitt actually represents australians.
