Nice words by Roger on Rafa's injury too. Feel for all the players having to answer some pretty inane questions every day...

Yeah the real question is why Stan retweeted. Possible mistake who knows. It's a non issue. No of course not by this stage in his career would a couple of doubles matches help his volleying. it's a stupid question to begin with.

Further shows what Wawrinka is to Federer. i guess Federer PR didn't filter this one. Just couldn't stop throwing this low comment jabs does he. At least one real comment from him and a PR comment.

Sounds like the two may have had a falling out. Clearly this wasn't sparked by the Fed camp.

I do agree - but the fact Stan retweeted that is hilarious.

at above comments; there's nothing in the comments against Stan. They aren't even about Stan.

I know I keep forgetting that every time Federer makes any kind of comments about doubles, he's automatically throwing shade at Stan.

Funny how whenever Federer says ANYTHING the default interpretation of a legion of fedhaters is that it's arrogant/unclassy/selfish etc.

"When I'm asked, how is it to be around Federer, and what is he really like, I always reply, "I wish people could meet him when cameras or an audience aren't around, as he is one of the nicest people I have ever met when stringing on tour. " -- drakulie

Trust by now you've read the actual interview. I guess your Real News didn't filter your fact-checking before you rushed to judgement.

Roger Federer

Form is temporary, class is permanent

"The more you lose, the more they believe they can beat me. But believing is not enough, you still have to beat me" RF.

"He is capable of hitting shots which others don't even think about trying" Lendl on RF.
