Extremely bad for tennis. Lopez, clearly the more talented and attacking player, should have won. What a choke

Less talented player won. Mugray should really have been sent packing here, but the Scot's insane luck has saved him once again. People who still have hopes that this no game pusher will win this USO are in for a rude surprise. The only thing Mugray can win this year is Shanghai title.

Heat bothered him during Bogo and today during Lopez. What's up?

Lopez is capable of great things but it's too bad he's a choker. Even so, glad to see he played well.

But yeah idiotic of Lopez to lose 3/3 tiebreaks

Fakervic played at 150% against Federer as usual.

Federer was the pioneer of first-strike all-court tennis. This is the real tennis and the beautiful game. Never forget the beauty of what was tennis. Nadull and Fakervic don't win tennis matches. They simply outlast their opponent with endless grinding and stamina. That is ugly. Beautiful tennis is gone now. Never forget the good days of real tennis.

Commies are having a hard time trying to defend this behavior. Today Courier said it was a "tic."

Lopez won 162 and Murray won 154 points?

Gotta be kidding me, Lopez is such a moron

Should have been 7/6 6/4 6/3, but Murray went mental walkabouts when up a break in sets 2 and especially 3.

Everything Murray does seems to be under a microscope how many other top players play oppenants that choke? It 's happens on a regular basis...

Except when it happens to Murray everyone makes a massive deal out of it? He was struggling no doubt about it- he definatley didnt play well

He had Difficult conditions on a court he was not used to, he was playing an inspired oppenant who was pissed about the 6-0 H2H and came up with a good gameplan and executed it very well, also the crowd were clearly favoring his ooppenant (for the first time in about 3-4 months), he wasn't feeling great physically. Yet he won the majority of the big points and comes through in 4 sets??

Andy deserves credit for winning ugly and fighting the things he was. This was his Verdasco AO match, or his Wawrinka USO match (Nando and Wawa are known for their choking abilities too yet they managed go get the W) But this Murray is mentally strong and dug deep today to beat Lopez and i'm impressed with that if nothing else.

Go Andy!

So very very proud to be a fan of Mr Andy Murray Wimbledon Champion 2013

Double Grand slam champion. Olympic Gold Medalist. Holder of 9 Masters 1000 events # legend

you should've listened Courier during AO F 2011.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

Haase and Lopez should have schooled him last year and this year respectively IMO.
