Andy paying the price for not having the chance to do his Miami training and conditioning block after Wimbledon due to the Olympics. As he said, a nice problem to have in a way, but it also means he's not well acclimatised to the brutal conditions and he's not coping with it very well this year compared to previous occasions.

Unfortunately couldn't win the olympic gold medalist and huge favourite for the title playing as I was obviously watching Roger's match.

After this match all I can say is congrats for your first slam murray. I just don't see anyone beating murray after the way he dispatched the lefty spaniard.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

More confused than bitter, Chokepez was never going to win this, I'm glad he at least put up a fight, I just can't understand why CBS loves Mugray so much.

Some of the worst line calls on break points/set points of all time.

All the points that had to be replayed favored Murray.

He's lucky he won.

"It's a much smaller court than Arthur Ashe - it plays quicker and Feliciano has a great serve. I served better in the first couple of sets and at the end.

"He played some really good stuff, served well when he was down in games, producing big second serves. He was able to dictate a lot, win free points and play well at the net.

"It's the last major event of the year and you want to push through anything physically. I will be out here in the next match giving 100%."

It should not be hot at all on Monday. Andy should not lose a set to Raonic. Milos just does not move well enough to beat Andy playing well.

Oh please. Why is everyone else coping ? This was one match and it was a bad day at the office. Happens to the very best. This is NOT a consequence of playing the Olympics. Murray will be 100% in his next match.
