Re: Rafael Nadal Injury/Health Update Thread : Nadal practicing on clay in Barcelona

Today we will know if Nadal is going to Viña del Mar. Some rumours says that the Central Court of Viña del Mar will be increased on capacity because of the arrival of Rafa Nadal. Other rumours says that Tommy Haas asked for the last WC and organization said that it was impossible because this WC was for Rafael Nadal.

Today we will know. If it is true, Nadal is playing in a little bit more than two weeks

"Hello everybody. Here you see me in a clay court training for the Sao Paolo tournament. I'm excited to go there after a lot of years... the last time was on 2005. It brings me a fantastic memories. I would thank the organization to give me the Wild Card to take part in the tournament and I hope seeing you there very soon. Thanks and a hug to everybody.

Nadal passes the last medical exam on his knee: http://www.el-nacional.com/deportes/...119389715.html

With this medical examination of the knee it is garanteed that Rafa is ready to compete on court.

Good - you guys can go discuss conspiracy theories at the next tinhat wearer's anonymous meeting. This thread is for those who live in the real world where it is understandable that athletes putting enormous strain on their body may get injured.

23 posts from you in a thread about the health of a player you dislike considerably. Really, your contribution and that of other prolific Nadal haters in here is a study in both stupidity and futility.

I'm surprised that I'm feeling the emotions that I am, but I can't wait to see him back playing. I really miss him.

Sorry mate but I post what I want in the threads I want. I follow the rules so there isn't a problem there.

If you get so uptight because of a forum then I suggest you quit this. It ain't doing good to your mental health that's for sure.

There is this tennis site, tennistalk.com, that is 90% nadal tards and most of them are federer haters also. I think you'd fit in there quite nicely.

I don't dispute your right to post; I suggested that it was a study in stupidity and futility. You again confirm as much and in glorious fashion as always.

As for what it might mean to be uptight...I am sure that anyone who knows what that word actually means would know that someone who strongly DISLIKES Nadal yet who feels compelled to post 24 times (so far) in a thread about his health is hardly what we might call "relaxed"

Of course athletes get injured. But it is the rather murky and conflicting details from Nadal's camp when he loses/is injured that perhaps cause "you guys" to comment.

And I see no problem with "you guys" pointing out that some of the details/circumstances surrounding a player's withdrawals are "strange".

I didn't even bother replying to Ash because it's just obvious that the way the nadal camp handles the injury issues is very clumsy.

Of course I don't doubt nadal was injured. He hasn't played a tournament in 6+ months. Just someone completely stupid could think he as faking it.

But the truth is the nadal camp always seems afraid to tell the whole story or the truth about nadal's injury issues.
