Nadal can skip a whole year and yet come back to the top easily. No probs.

No, it's unlikely it would be that simple for him at 27. 17 sure 27 no.

I agree. It'd just take him a while to come back. If he comes back at WTF, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take out Tipsy and co.

Nadal is easily one of the most talented players to ever play the game. He can miss two years and still come back strong. It will be hilarious to see Fedtards sweating when Nadal's ranking drops far enough to meet the geezer in R3/R4 of slams. Beating LL's and qualifiers in the first week will no longer be a guarantee

Yes he's extremely talented. No one argues that. However a comeback just will not be that simple if he's out that long. His game is built on being highly physical. If he's that compromised it takes him being out one to two years, his body failed him. That wont work well in his confidence etc.

I will make a prediction here, which i rarely do. He comes back in 6 months max or he's done. And i hope he comes back, so this isnt like a lot of folks on here who love to trash players. I wish him only the best, but if it's that bad it takes him longer, his run is pretty much done.

Yep agree, hitting constantly the same topspin forehand on opponents backhand requires alot of talent, that's why hes indoor/fast courts records are fantastic, not.

If Nadal does not win another French he will forever be overshadowed by super MAX.

Federer: Future number one.

Fed vs Rafa

Wimbledon: 7-2
U.s open: 5-2
AO: 4-1
FO 1-9
WTF: 6-0
Weeks at number one: 302-140(about)

Really no contest

Not really.. that's called not really understanding what's going on if you think he ( or most any player) can be out for two to 3 years and come back on top. It just doesn't work that way for virtually any player. History is pretty clear on that point. He's got 6 months to get it together or it's done.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

When some supposed Nadaltard openly hoping for Nadal to drop so far in the rankings that he'll meet a top seed in R3/R4 then you know what you have is really just a hater/troll and not a real fan of Nadal.

To actually win slams with such a limited game take being a ridiculous athlete, which is a talent, and also the reason his body can't hold up the way skilled players can.
