congrat Benneteau

What a match by Novikov! couple bad calls from empire

18 years old what a great kid!

I think USTA got to develop this kid

he maybe best young American next year

This kid will have great future

i have to say parts of novikov's game impressed me. You have to wonder why up until this point he'd hardly had a top 500 win in his career

his break point conversion rate was terrible though. 3/22

indeed. first serve % and BP conversion really cost him here but there is loads of potential.

Wow, very good match from both actually.
Novikov was impressive.

Although I have that Gulbis-feeling that he only shows up in big matches.

That could be the reason why his results were so bad before the US Open.
