Will be a sad day for the sport, Roddick one was of the household names of mens tennis for the last 15 years or so.
He had a great carrer and did everything a tennis player would hope to achieve. A grand slam and world no. 1 ranking, plus many other tournaments and great matches, money and memories.
Will be missed but I wish him the best of luck.
10 years maybe, far from 15.
I'm not really fussed about his retirement. His change of game style will always remain one of the biggest mysteries to me and his attitude towards lower ranked players was abysmal.
A character nevertheless and an entertaining player during his prime.
