Expected. I didn't like him but I will miss him. Tennis is dying slowly with no personality people taking over Roddicks and Feds of this world.

Not a terrible move I suppose. At least he led Federer 1-0 in the year he retired.

warm regards...

6-2, 6-3, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-0 (and not even finals).

Re: Andy Roddick WILL retire after the US Open [CONFIRMED]

I'm not surprised, I'm actually kind of glad he's doing it now instead of later. This year has been a failure for him and it would suck to see him retire in the 50s

Another Game for Milos

The Ostrich/Duck will never be achieved now . Oh Roger, why did you have to lose that match in Miami?

As for the news, it's sad for the game probably since a lot of people liked him. I wasn't one of them though and won't miss him, he's a dick on court and has an ugly game.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

damn too bad he went out.

it was expected, but since he won 2 titles this year I hoped he was going to continue for couple of more years.

I will deeply miss his intelligence, his honesty and his humor.

Seems very much at peace with it. And, happy.

I think it's early for him to retire. But that's his decision of course.

I was never a fan but I'm saddened by the news.

I'm sorry he never got to win Wimbledon.

Re: Andy Roddick WILL retire after the US Open [CONFIRMED]

Will be a sad day for the sport, Roddick one was of the household names of mens tennis for the last 15 years or so.

He had a great carrer and did everything a tennis player would hope to achieve. A grand slam and world no. 1 ranking, plus many other tournaments and great matches, money and memories.

Will be missed but I wish him the best of luck.

.Roger Federer.
