I kind of hope that too, because it would mean - most probably - a Federer-Djokovic FO final. After all, Nadal can hardly fall enough in the rankings before FO for this to happen. And then in W, an early meeting Federer - Nadal when the grass is still green should be a treat.

Shame Fed will probably kick Dull's ass before he can get into dull retriever mode for the 2nd week. I'd love to see Fed-Dull on first week grass .

that would be a nice re-balance to the h2h

imagine Nadal v Sampras on 90s grass

On Murray

Murray wins Wimbledon 2016 after Djokovic is blue shelled by Querrey. Thanks Querrey!

lol, Doc, what a naïve guy you are

I would make a bet with you. You would pay me 100 bucks every time Nadal and Federer would coincide in the same draw and I'd pay you 500 each time they don't.

Re: Where will Nadal be ranked at the end of 2012?

Probably 4. But it doesn't really matter, he will go back to #2 and Nole to #1 pretty soon.

Novak Djokovic nº1!

The Golden Era of Novak: Australian Open * Dubai * Indian Wells * Miami * Belgrade * Madrid * Rome * Wimbledon * Montreal * US Open * Abu Dhabi * Australian Open * Miami * Toronto * China * Shanghai * World Tour Finals 2012 * Australian Open 2013 * Dubai * Montecarlo * Beijing * Shanghai * Paris * WTF * Indian Wells * Miami * Rome * WIMBLEDON 2014 * AUSSIE OPEN 2015
Federer to Nole: "Amazing year. Amazing tournament. Amazing match. You are THE BEST!"

would be ideal if nadal would drop out of the top 4 but it's unlikely.

Wrong. After Murray humbles Nole he will win everything until end of this year: 6500 points, he will be YE no.1 for sure.

Re: Where will Nadal be ranked at the end of 2012?

He will finish fourth, but Ferrer, Berdych and Delpo all will have theoretical chance to surpass him if Rafa loses early at AO. And then clay season can be really funny.

Gasquet is next №1

you underrate Nadal on grass; he can speed up his serve if he likes and play much more offensively. he would make adjustments if he was playing on that sort of grass era

<3 Roger Federer <3 David Ferrer <3 Juan Martin Del Potro <3 Ernest Gulbis <3

------------------------ <3 Richard Gasquet <3

Rafael Nadal

Re: Where will Nadal be ranked at the end of 2012?

After the USO, Murray is 110 points behind Nadal.

Ferrer still at around 2100.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.

That is ridiculous, Sampras backhand would still have huge problems returning Nadal's serve.

Stop with this nonsense about Nadal beeing a mug on grass, he is very good on the surface.

Sampras lost to Corretja and went to 5 sets against Courier for gods sake.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.
