Quote really needs to be changed. It's already proven wrong in Madrid this year that Fed couldn't win a toury both Nole and Nadal were in. He'd done that before anyway.

That RFK's quote was from last year.

It was already proven wrong in WTF last year. And then Indian Wells. And then Madrid. and then Wimbledon.

But of course R=FK can never face reality. He lives in la la land.

He said Grampa Fed (against PRIME Joker). That's the point.

warm regards...

Please notice the adjective this time around.

Incorrect.
The correct sentence is: Roger Federer is the better player, and for many the GOAT; however Nadal has a matchup advantage against Federer on clay.

Re: Roger : We are best ever, The four of us? Thatís a really difficult call.

each time djoker beat fed, fed was supposedly old and declining.

djoker injured himself in october and tanked the recent matches vs. nishikori and fed. fed bragged that he dominated the tour several months - beating young, nieminen, isner, hewitt, roddick, tsonga, injured chokers, etc. and pretended he was
in bad shape in january.

Don't bother.

I don't think his posts make any sense at all actually.

On the day, when these two have played in Major tournaments, eight times Nadal has won the last point. Eight times, eighty percent of the time on the game's biggest stages, Rafael nadal beats Roger Federer and so that makes Nadal the better player of the two.
That computes to me no problem.

So let's take out the clay regarding their major match up.

2-1 to Roger on grass.
2-0 to Nadal on hard/slow blue clay

3-2 Nadal.

No US Open I know. Nadal did not make the final because he is not great on the US Open surface bar that year he won the title, the year Roger did not make the final, and the year after when Rafa was the runer-up, when Roger also failed to make the final. So, they are both as guilty of ducking out of the finals.

All I am saying really is that in the matches they have played, not the matches we imagine, Nadal seems to play the better tennis because he, erm, wins. And in some people's eyes that makes Nadal the better player.

But I think the real problem is this.

Somewhere I am sure there is a mathematician who could write a beautiful equation to express this.
It's called a match-up. Look it up.

Yeah I think the Top 4 in 1981 were McEnroe, Lendl, Connors, & Borg. 34 slams between them (eventually), despite their rarely playing the A.O.
