never a good sign for democracy when a guy gets re-elected for a third consecutive term in any organization, especially when that guy is likely the most popular frontman already.

fed is starting to get blind with power. should consider giving out some of his privileges imo

Re: Roger elected as ATP player council president for a third term

Well I guess it shows they think he was doing a good job.

I'm more interested in the other news from this meeting, seems like Australian TV are expecting news about the AO boycott to filter out from there in the next 24 hours.

Nice to have a doubles guy as VP too.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

I have a feeling when Fed finally calls it quits, he'll turn around and say,

"You were all fools to stoop down to me for so long. Sayonara, suckas ..."

NID, if Roger was running he was going to win for obvious reasons: he's the most powerful tennis player (in terms of political, social, economic power), the most popular amongst his fellow players and fans and the one who's trying not to fuck tennis with crap proposals like two year rankings.

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Don't forget that Fed helped to kill carpet off of the tour.
