Re: WoW! Players threaten to boycott the AO!

Won't happen.

"I talked to a few players and others involved in tennis, and it appears that Federer is now ready to support the less famous and rich player's fight against the Slams (he is still not in favour of all-out war, though), as he has now conquered all the Grand Slam records he wanted."

What a mug article.

Educating MTF clowns one post at a time.
So many fanboys to troll, so little time.

Favourite tennis matches: 2011 US Open Final & 2012 Australian Open Final, starring Novak Djokovic & Rafael Nadal, showing us just how far science can take humanity.

The US Open Final was especially enjoyable, with 'Why are there white spots all over my body?' Djokovic and 'Why am I sweating boils?' Nadal embarked on a titanic battle, concluding with the inferior player, Nadal, entering a sort of delirious state of psychosis. This allowed him to, while showing very little fatigue, consume inhuman amounts of energy, before he literally ran his legs from underneath him. This is truly the stuff dreams are made of.

Re: WoW! Players threaten to boycott the AO!

AO Boycott - highly unlikely. There's still big money in that tournament.

Dubai super-tournament - highly likely. Those guys have enough money to buy all 4 Slams put together.

If you get the Emirates flight to Melbourne you can stop off in Dubai to break up the journey. Problem solved.

Nadal is putting his money where his mouth is by boycotting the USO where he made the last two finals. Fedull only does it when it's convenient.

I can't believe you only have 600 posts general. It seems unreal. You sure are a legend around here.

Re: WoW! Players threaten to boycott the AO!

This is silly. And the author doesn't even pretend to be a neutral journalist. Just look at how he talks about Federer. It's foolish senastionalism. We'd see players talking and tweeting about this (and more than just Stakhovsky) if this was real.

Re: WoW! Players threaten to boycott the AO!

This was discussed already this year in Melbourne. They'd give them a year so they can negotiate on more of the financial pie especially when it's because of the players that the tournaments make the money.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
