You can earn a lot of money betting on it.

Gasquet is next №1

“Both of these factors have resulted in the courts playing a little slower than usual,” the U.S.T.A. said in a statement.".

So unless they make the same mistake this year it should play faster than last year.

That was long long before Murray's breakthrough win this summer or were you not watching ? Look I will admit that Murray is NOT the favourite. I'm no Sapeod lol He can never be considered the TOP favourite until he wins a slam. The gold was a massive step in the right direction. Murray is only 25 years old. He is approaching his peak whilst Fedal may be in decline (for different reasons). There is a hierarchy of favourites and from now until he wins one Murray will always rank just below the Top favourite in non clay GS'. You'd best believe.

But this imo gives djokovic the edge but not murray.

If murray is drawn in Roger's half SS has no effect in their match and Roger would be the favourite imo. If they meet in the finals murray would have to overcome djokovic probably. And that won't be easy for him.

For me Djokovic is the favourite with Roger in second place.

I agree with your second post, which makes me about the bold part in first post. I think people are buying too much into Bo5 thing, there is no guarantee Fed will have a tough semi.

My list of favorites would be:

1)Fed
2)Nole
3)Murray

I really think Djokovic is ahead of Roger on the favourite list.

The other post I wrote was just to argument that Roger has a chance and a very good one to win the US Open. I was responding to Allez who seems to think that the SS will prevent Roger from winning the US Open and that Roger's only chances are if his opponent in the finals gets injured,...

Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray will win US Open"

I hope to say 2012 USOPEN champ is Andy MUrray. His first Slam is right here in NewYork
and Hope 10 more slams

Come on Andy. It's your time

GO Roger Federer, Nick Kyrgios, Borna Coric, Vasek Pospisil, Thomaz Bellucci, Kei Nishikori, , Milos Raonic, Jerzy Janowicz, Grigor Dimitrov, Dennis Novikov and Bernard Tomic

Borna Coric will be No 1 by May 2016
Nick Kyrgios will be No 1 by Jan 2016

Murray so soon your time will come. Get out while you´re still young. May all your dreams come true for someone like you.

Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray will win US Open"

Goran is always wrong. He also predicted Italy to win the Euro 2012 right before the final and then they lost 4-0.

As for Wilander, I don't think he predicted Roger to win Wimbledon, but he predicted Djokovic for the USO last year and the Aussie Open. I think it's also safe to assume that no sane person would bet against Rafa on clay.

At the end of the day these are just predictions though. I won't hold my breath until Andy actually wins a slam. Until then he won't be the favourite, at least not in my mind, entering any tournament where one of the other 3 is playing. That said, I hope he proves me wrong this time.

Re: Wilander&Ivanisevic: "Murray will win US Open"

If he performs well he'll lose in the Semi-Final to Djokovic or Federer. If he performs badly, which is more likely, he'll go out in the first week. No chance of him winning it with his mental block against the top players.

I want to believe. Too bad Murray flunking out the summer hardcourt season so far hasn't dampened expectations. But he handled the pressure at the Olympics, so I think he can again.
