Please don't insult Roger Federer by comparing Flukervic to him.

Re: Endless Djokovic/Federer Debates (Their rivalry)

Djoker's mother thinks there is no debate.

After he won Wimbledon in 2011, his mother proclaimed, “For four years, it was Roger, Rafa, Rafa, Roger,” said Djokovic’s mother, Dijana. “Now it is Novak, Novak, Novak, Novak.” http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/04/sp...ael-nadal.html

This was after she boasted when her son won the Australian Open in 2008 (referring to Roger) "The king is dead!"

Not so fast, Dijana. Since Wimbledon '11, the Slam winners are: Djokovic (US Open), Djokovic (Australian), Nadal (French), Federer (Wimbledon), Murray (US Open). Plus, now Federer stays safely as king at #1, setting the all-time record for weeks at that ranking.

Looks like banking on Nole's mother's predictions aren't a good bet.

And after 2007 US Open final, his dad said "this is the last time he win against Novak". His parents are ridiculous.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

The hard court king is dead, long live the hard court king.

8th day of July 2012: 7-time Wimbledon champion!

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Long live King Federer!

17 Grand Slam titles
7 Wimbledon titles
302 weeks at #1
Legend

The Federer - Djokovic rivalry year-end H2H (2-2 ATM in 2012)

Hi.
The Djokovic - Federer rivalry is at the moment one of the hotest in MTF.
The two players seems to like and enjoy playing with each other, and the fans seems to like insulting each other (except some few cases who are respectful).

We see Rafa and Murray fans taking sides in this epic rivalry.

In 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010 Federer took the year-end H2H.
In 2009 and 2011, Nole won this particular award.

H2H
2006: Federer 2-0
2007: Federer 3-1
2008: Federer 2-1
2009: Djokovic 3-2
2010: Federer 4-1
2011: Djokovic 4-1

In 2012

ATM they're 2-2, with Djokovic winning over Fed in Rome and RG, and Federer in Wimbledon and Cincy.

They can face a a maximum of 3 times (Shanghai, Paris, WTF)

How many times will they face each other at the season end?

Who will take the lead?

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
Appeal moderation is always hungry for your soul and sweet emotions.

First and once godly-worhispped appeal moderator.
(Actually 2nd)

I`m pretty sure that Fed hates to play with Nole. It`s in body language, gestures. Among top players Djokovic more or less is suitable match-up for him, nevertheless.

Returning to topic - they won`t play this year again, IMO.

Gasquet is next №1

Re: The Federer - Djokovic rivalry year-end H2H (2-2 ATM in 2012)

Last season they didn't meet at all from this point in, and it won't be easier this year considering they can only meet in finals (or the WTF SF). Still, Djokovic should be in better shape than last year. I see one more meeting with Fed winning and I think it will be in the WTF. A Fed - Djoko final seems unlikely both for Shanghai and Paris IMO.
