For me Djokerer-matches up until 2011 were usually quite poor matches with streaky, erraneous play. It was very rare to see both of them playing a good complete match then.

Actual cannibal

Re: Endless Djokovic/Federer Debates - Year End Number 1

Fed was gash in Miami. He was average in Rome and Basel also (he was OK, but fairly slow/pale, in AO '08 - regardless, Nole played a great match). USO '11 was definitely higher quality than in '10 - Fed looked supreme in those first 2 sets. Fed was also better in AO '11 than half the ones mentioned, though he did severely mess-up his second set lead.

I'd actually say one of the best matches between the two is in Toronto 2010 SFs - Fed in godmode for a set and a half, Nole fighting back in the second going for every shot, and a tense decider 7-5 to Fed (after leading 4-1 iirc and saving BPs at 5-5). Obviously RG last year was consistently high quality also.

As for YE #1, going to be very close. I think Djokovic edges it, but it really is going to come down to what he makes up in the indoor season and what Fed manages to defend.

I agree. Personally I think he'll win four: Cincy, USO, Shanghai, and WTF.

What would a poll prove? That people would massively vote for you because you obviously have self esteem issues just to make you feel better about yourself even if they know I am senseful, courteous, considerate, a beacon of light, fair and just and, in a perfect world, a future mod?

Do you think the people that saw him defend all his titles are less biased than me? How about the douchebags that predicted a Calendar Year Golden Grand Slam? Not being a Nole fan allows me to see his achievements without wearing Nole tainted glasses (a dark shade of brown).

I don't worship him like a Golden Calf.

You're a cute troll, but try to change what you say. It's boring reading the same thing over and over again.

So nice of Federer to let the rest of the field compete to win Bercy, what a magnanimous champion

The REALITY is that Federer is 39-2 on hardcourts since last September, and the holder of six HC titles; including two HC Masters + WTF. The REALITY is that Federer won the last Grand Slam and reached the final of the Olympics, whilst Djokovic lost in the semi-finals of both. And the REALITY is that Federer is the current World #1 and five-time US Open, four-time Cincinnati, and six-time World Tour Finals, champion. My sense of reality is just fine, thank you.
