Re: Murrays withdraws from Toronto.

Good decision. Even waiting for his matches to be played probably takes a bit out of him mentally. Might as well rest for his the other Masters which has been equally good for him throughout the years .

Having said that, my challenge draw has been crippled today. Both of my finalists are gone, so RIP Toronto draw .

What a joke tournament. It never should have been so close to the Olympics.. it should have been cancelled or postponed.

They let him play tennis once after they saw his "consistency is everything" advertisement.

Better to withdraw and get better for Cincinnatti than making it worse against Raonic.

He gets some points this week though, which is good.

Re: Murrays withdraws from Toronto.

Djoker would be daft not to tank himself IMO. He played plenty of Olympic singles tennis so unless he goes on and bags this one and then takes it easy in Cincinnati then he might not be the freshest come USO time.

I'd have liked to see this rematch but, in the long run, good.

Re: Murray withdraws from Toronto.

A few months ago Victoria Azarenka did exactly the same thing at a tournament. Show up, win one match and withdraw so she wouldn't get a 0 pointer.

With the Olympics they should've been more leniant with the mandatory tournaments this year.
