Toronto R2: Djokovic beats Tomic 6-2, 6-3

Nole did not have to raise his level by much. Even a blindfolded Djokovic can beat Tomic.

I quite like Tomic, I wonder where he'll be in 2-3 years.

Expected shaky start from Nole, but from the middle of 1st he was getting better and better. Tomic seems content to hit a few amazing shots every now and then, and to push or make poor errors the rest of the time.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Very shitty first couple of games by Nole, but decided to play tennis after hot dog and it all finished with a happy end.

Second gear the whole way through. Tomic was playing some great stuff just to win five games. Nole, congratulations, good starter on hard-courts.

Mugic was just abysmal. Djokovic was solid as always

Game over. Forever.

Epic tweener in the first half of the second set

totally robbed the point from Tomic

nice to see him get the crowd going again, he seems to be a bit tired/out of energy lately
