500 win club

Tommy Haas is only 7 wins away from joining this, how much longer do people see him playing after he records his 500th win? I think he plays out the season then calls it a day!

We'll see him more than that.
After saying he's haunting those 500 wins, he also said he would like to play long enough for his daughter to be able to see him play.

Tommy's not typical veteran, when you take away all the years he's been injured, he's now at best age in tennis, 29 That was some joke I heard him saying hehe

Also he looks very much in shape, so I don't see him retiring just yet. We might see him play for another 2-3 years...

Would love it If he plays on that long, I spose with his ranking now why wouldnt you? Direct Entry for all tournaments and seeded in slams!

Re: 500 win club

Yeah it smells pretty much like '09. That blimey unexpected injury that came after perfect year was tough to swallow.
To me it was just matter of time when he'd explode once again. Decent run at RO, Halle title, 3 finals on different surface in matter of just couple of weeks!

Ladies and gentlemen, Tommy is just warming up , he's far from being done.
Oh and all those MTF haters telling many years ago he should have retired long ago. Now hoping that Tommy avoids their players

I know, I was even more pissed at Wimbly organizers for not putting them on televised court, which was prolly one of top3 matches in whole tourney.

Yep I like Kohli a lot, but theres also a very HUUUUGE gap after Tommy for the rest of 'my boys'
So basically I was 101% behind Tommy there.

There are lot of 'ifs' but yeah, I sincerely think he would have gotten very far at Wimbly. But it ain't about ranking anymore for us (Tommy's fans).

I'm perfectly fine with this 24th spot atm, which is (if I'm not mistaken) that magical spot for the slams, meaning he can't play anyone from top5 until 4th Round...
