CH Vancouver Final: Sijsling def. Bubka 6-1 7-5

A moment of silence please.

Not only does Sijsling enter the top 100 for the first time with this result, he immediately marches to the 74th spot!

Igor crushed Federer in Rotterdam. Thoroughly deserved spot in the top 100.

If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

Good to see it is known that Sliceling actually beat Federer in Rotterdam with his superb slices.

Size-ling comes pretty close though.

Great win for him. He is quite talented, but has struggled with injuries a lot. I don't think he'll hold up well against top players though, so it remains to be seen how long his foray in the Top 100 lasts.

If he draws bad claycourters on hardcourt he really has a chance. He should use good scheduling to hoover around 50 i think..
