PHM must have had flashbacks to Toronto 2010 when he led Niemenin 5-2 in the 3rd set only to lose 5-7. Cipola beating PHM on a hard court is a surprise, but I don't think PHM likes junkballers who mix up pace and feed off his pace. He also has trouble with Granollers. Granollers and Cipola both look like club playing hackers but I guess style isn't everything in tennis.

Went to Paulo's matches both yesterday and today, put some thoughts and photos together. Beautiful game, frustrating player. But what else is new...

Sad defeat for PHM, he seemed to be bouncing back, but good to see Flavio getting wins on HC, and a good chance to make R2 vs Zopp.
