Points for the bronze medal match

Did Djokovic play badly or did Del Potro play really, really well? I missed the match.

A player who wanted it more won. That`s all. Very happy for DP, didn`t see this one happening.

Better player lost

Nole had more winners, better first serve and better stats but he lost - reason fucked up surface of so called "grass" of Wimbledon courts.

This tournament should be indoors not outdoors because organizers cant keep good surface entire tournament.
Someone else had the mental fortitude today.

Deserved win for del goatro.

As for Nole, his game and confidence are so trash atm, it's early 2010 like. God help him.

This does not bode well for us open at all. If Novak can't beat him here, he certainly won't do it in New York.

While Montenegro was part of Yugoslavia, its internet domain was .yu, now it is .me

Del Potro was clutch on the important points and Djokovic was brainlagged in those moments. Probably pressured himself too much with this. A medal from him was a given according to the local hype.

Well done to Delpo on winning an Olympic medal , he deserved it after that heartbreaking loss to Roger in the semis.

Bad luck Nole, it just wasn't his day again (just like against Murray in the semis) , hope he can put the disappointment behind him quickly and play a great US Open series.

Djokovic, Federer, Tsonga, Del Potro, Wawrinka, Thiem, Nishikori, Raonic

Congrats Djokovic on winning 2016 French Open and becoming the first man since Rod Laver in 1969 to win 4 consecutive majors!

An amazing performance and victory for Delpo! Awesome really! After such a heartbreaking defeat against Roger, you could easily tell how much a win today meant for him. For the people that don't like him, should be tough to not feel at least a bit happy for this feat! Hopefully this will add to his confidence regarding his ability to play here on his least favourite/comfortable surface.

Very sad for Djokovic to end this way but I like both players so I'm happy for DP.

I didn't get to see this match, I stupidly watched Muger instead

Delpo overtakes Tipsy, but Tipsy is playing Toronto and I doubt Delpo will. Wouldn't Tipsy overtake Delpo there?
