Delpo 2.0 has started. Delpo is a fighter and belongs in the top 5

Re: No thread? Olympics: Del Potro wins Bronze, beats Djokovic 7-5 6-4

Del Potro He was just amazing down the clutch. Both players striked the ball well and were mostly evenly matched, but Delpo just drove Novak crazy with his ability to come up with incredible shots in clutch situations.

Amazing that he bounced back so well after that semifinal, especially mentally. I'm very proud of his performance and very happy that he is taking a medal home, he deserves it

Sorry for Nole (who deserved it too) and his fans But Juan needed it more: Novak already has a medal and everyone knows how great he is. Delpo needed this to remind people with short memories of what an awesome player he is and can be.

Hope to see this two play in a Slam final in the future, it's always great tennis in this matchup.

Nole looked far more dominant at the beggining. Lost only one point on serve in 5 games, missed 3bp at 3-2 and got broken at 5-5. I think it was not his day. Well done to Del Potro. Well deserved medal. After that epic against Federer didn't give up and won the bronze for his country

Against Murray he messed up..especially in the 2nd set.
Remember when it was I think 5-5 and Djo was up 30-15 AND 40-30 and Andy was on his 2nd serve both were weak and Djo could have...should've punished that he would've broken there and maybe even won the match. Things would've been different now.

Still...I think Djo just didn't care for bronze here. He already has an olympic medal he wanted the gold so much.

Congrats to Delpo. People who think the Olympics don't mean much should watch how these guys react to winning a bronze.

Gutted for Nole though, I hope he can put together a good summer hardcourt season.

I support a lot of mugs.

Djoker too dumb to use his chances, congratulations Del Potro though you should've been in the finals today.

Congrats. First medal for ARG.

Luck was on Delpo's side, I feel bad for Novak, he looks so sad in his interview.

Good for Delpo. I think this is Novak's first really poor patch of play since the beginning of 2011.

He just can't be consistent. He wasn't that bad against Murray, but today he was shocking. Rather like Federer in USO 2009, fantastic in the semis, woeful in the finals. And once again, del Potro takes advantage
