Re: Toronto Draw

On the LL front, if there is a pullout, Ebden will be in the main draw. Keep an eye on DelPotro and Tsonga for the likely last second withdrawals

Delpo is the flagbearer of Argentina in the closing ceremony. Surely he won't fly to Canada the very next day and play on Tuesday/Wednesday?

The closing ceremony is a week from today.

Nor of Vince Spadea nor Jonathan Stark...--all ranked in the world’s top one hundred at one point in 1995. Closing ceremony? The Olympics will last another week. If Del Potro shall carry the Argentinian flag he can do so after Toronto, before Cincy.

Re: Toronto Draw

If I'm not wrong - this is the first time since paris 2006 (!) that both nadal and federer are not participating in a masters tournament.

Re: Toronto Draw

I will hate it if they withdraw and a LL gets a bye.

Re: Toronto Draw

Usually the first day of a Masters tends to be underwhelming, but the fact that they've given seeds 9-16 byes means that tomorrow is particularly dreadful. The first day at Washington was more compelling. Not sure how much I'll be tuning in until Tuesday...

I hope for Raonic's sake Murray withdraws. Even then if he doesn't, Raonic might have a chance.

Re: Toronto Draw

Yeah i hope Milos takes the chance here. He has had many tough Draws but its silly that he is not where Monaco is in the rankings.

uhmmm..I think he should take a break, already played a lot of tennis, relax some days..then practice in hard courts and play Cincy. Maybe he will tank the tournament?
