Washington R2: Dolgopolov def. Ramirez Hidalgo 6-1, 6-3

Result was never in doubt, but one thing that stood out to me was that dolgo served 66% first serves for the match. I've never seen that high of a % with him, and I can't tell if this is a fluke because he felt no pressure, or if he is finally stepping up. Against Blake should be a decent match, hopefully televised.

I think my good friend James is screwed.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
Appeal moderation is always hungry for your soul and sweet emotions.

First and once godly-worhispped appeal moderator.
(Actually 2nd)

that's awesome to hear about the first serve percentage for Alex, he always has such awful numbers in that department.....

hopefully he's been working on the serve, everyone is aware that his ground game is potent but if he can fix the serve maybe he can come back to being a real threat against top players

Bit of consistency from Dolgopolov, has a chance to jump up the rankings with a couple more wins
