Completely embarrassing for Ebden. he can't possibly have any good results after this. This was just the 6th win for RH outside of clay

Washington R1: R Ramirez Hidalgo def. M Ebden 6-3 6-2

You know you're shit when you get routined by RRH on a hard-court.

Other than that, GOAT result.

Avoid the GOAT RRH at all costs

Well if I were Ebden, I'd be apologising on twitter for losing on a HARD court to RRH.

And then I would retire.

Only kidding! But he does need to ask himself so e questions. It's concerning that he shows promise and then throws it away.

Ebden .

Just for fun, the only victories of Ramirez-Hidalgo on hard courts on the ATP main tour:

- Miami 2011, def. Mannarino 7-6 6-7 6-2
- Doha 2007, def. Khalfan Al Alawi 7-6 6-2
- New Haven 2007, def. C. Rochus 6-3 7-5
- New Haven 2007, def. Blake 2-6 7-6 7-6
- Metz 2006, def. Verdasco 6-3 6-3

He once beat Blake, and Verdasco, so I see your point.

Other victims of his include multiple slam winner Sultan Khalfan Al Alawi, in Doha 07.

Edit: feck, Helevorn got there first.

Re: Washington R1: Ramirez-Hidalgo def. Ebden 6-3 6-2

Hidalgo's win against Blake in New Haven 2006 was the match that brought round-robin to tour events. I'm 100% convinced of this.

how RRH managed to beat Blake on HC back in 2007 is beyond me.
