No he shouldn't. As he himself said he could've gone out in the early rounds and made it just fine to London. But it wasn't the case, shit happens.

German Olympic Committee should have just nominated Mayer, Kohli as they qualified with their rankings and not the other criteria they added to his selection.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

He'll take the money, I don't think he really cares about what you think about him.

If you are elected to represent your country in the Olympic, you prepare in the best possible way. Simple as that.

I'm sorry to ruin your dreamy world but money is far more important than 2 dime patriotism.

Hope that paycheck was worth it.
I think it's a lot as he was tied with the tournament. His appearance fee i think probably is around the 100,000 mark.

Re: Kohlschreiber won't play at the Olympics due to foot injury

What am I actually talking about. Italy nominated Seppi by the first deadline, so he doesn't sign up for the usual summer clay events as he knows he plays the Games. Germans didn't do that with Kohli, he makes other arrangements during that time. They change their mind, then this happens.

It's a combo of a few things.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

yeah money matters and nothing else.

so there's no issue with someone who has had to answer questions about match fixing in the past from having a contract with a betting company.

none at all.

If your country doesn't put in stupid rules, then i will agree. I'm happy that German NOC loses him, they don't deserve it, they didn't support him.

I agree with this actually. Jerking him around like a yo-yo for no reason was not cool.

Re: Kohlschreiber won't play at the Olympics due to foot injury

And about his chance to win a medal, you have to be real moron to say he has no chance with this draw .Perhaps he cant beat Federer, but he got weakest of top 4 seeds in his quarter - Ferrer . He beat Ferru 3 times before, twice on hard , once on clay and they never played on Kohlis best surface - grass.

What a wasted chance ...

Re: Kohlschreiber won't play at the Olympics due to foot injury

I just woke up and saw this sh!t. I can't believe, first Tomas lost, now this, oh well..

It has never been Kohli's fault tho. German committee screwed tennis players this year, and they screwed it hard!

TOMMY HAAS

Philipp Kohlschreiber - Stanislas Wawrinka - TB - NM - GD - EG - IS - DL - RF - DT - JWT

If you're a hardcore betting man, you are bound to see a lot of fixers around.

Number one rule of the game.
