Neither but I don't even think winning a singles medal would really change the perception unless it was a run by some young American...even then, I think people would call it fluke.

It would have to be a gold for the guys to pay attention. Because a gold medal feels way more important than wining a MS 1000 event.

Re: What's more likely to happen for the Americans in the olympics

Doesn't it say it all that the oddsmakers believe Fish has a better shot of medaling than Young? Can't say I disagree either.

Andy Murray: 2012 Olympic gold and silver medalist. US Open Champ. Wimbledon champ. Never been prouder of him.

The Brian Baker Story. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction... until Hollywood buys the rights and proceeds to keep screwing the script up.

We need a little bit of Nebraska's bomber in our lives
A little bit of Roddick by our side
A little bit of A-Rod's what we need
A little bit of duck is what we see
A little bit of Stephen in the sun
A little bit of servedick all night long
A little bit of Kid-Rod, here I am
A little bit of Andy makes we're all men

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
Appeal moderation is always hungry for your soul and sweet emotions.

First and once godly-worhispped appeal moderator.
(Actually 2nd)

Re: What's more likely to happen for the Americans in the olympics

I think they have a shot at it, i think in order of chances Isner, Roddick, Harrison, Bob Bryan, Mike Bryan, Serena, Venus, McHale, Huber, Raymond, Lepchenko, Young. Oh I forget only 4 are competing in men's singles, oh well Young has a reputation to prove hope he doesn't upset anyone. I wouldn't pick Isner as most likely if its best of 5, but he has more of a shot now its best of 3. BTW i think they are faves to win 4 of the 5 golds.
