I have never been this excited for a draw to be released for a grnadslam as much as I am this time around for the Olympics.

Also looking forward to the mens doubles draw and mixed doubles.

It's in exactly 16 hours' time.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

Cakewalk draw for Fed/Nole:
mug > mug > Verdasco > Del Potro/Tipsarevic > Ferrer

Nightmare draw:
Karlovic > Raonic > Cilic > Berdych(for Fed)/Tsonga(for Nole) > Murray

ROGER FEDERER

Isner is a way bigger threat for Fed. Roddick is also very dangerous

Re: The Olympics Draw Thread

My ideal projected QF and semis:

Federer vs Berdych
Murray vs Tipsy (Fed vs Tipsy and Murray vs Tomas would be fine too)

Djokovic vs Del Potro
Tsonga vs Ferrer

Re: The Olympics Draw Thread

For me this is the best:

Federer - Verdasco
Tipsarevic - Monaco

Del Potro - Simon
Ferrer - Nishikori

Murray - Gasquet
Berdych - Isner

Tsonga - Almagro
Djokovic - Cilic

It'd be nice to see Delpo vs Nishikori in QF for sure.

That said, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the draw is impossible. Seeds #5 and #6, and #7 and #8 can never be in the same side of the draw ie Tsonga and Berdych will be on opposite sides, as will Del Potro and Tipsarevic.

Nishikori - Del Potro?
You'd love that, wouldn't you?
If my draw comes true, I guess Nishikori is JMDP's only hope to avoid a QF beatdown from his master Ferrer

Re: The Olympics Draw Thread

Fed will, as always, quite clearly get the most difficult draw
