Re: Atlanta Final: Roddick def. Muller 1-6 7-6(2) 6-2

Everyone here praises Roddick, but it was really a Muller choke. In the 2nd set, Muller was the better player except for the last service game in which he's saved 4 SP's. Muller was returning better, at least 3 Roddick's service games in the 2nd set went to deuce while Muller was losing only one or two points in his service games and was in control of the match. Then in the tie-break, Muller completely choked - double faulted and ridiculously missed a couple of strokes. I'm afraid this was his last chance to win a title. What a shame.

LIKE: Stepanek, Youzhny, Stakhovsky, Raonic, Pouille || HATE: Nadal, Almagro, Monfils, Troicki, Simon, Tipsarevic

Re: Atlanta Final: Roddick def. Muller 1-6 7-6(2) 6-2

Muller really only has himself to blame for that second set tiebreak. Once that was over, the result wasn't in doubt.

Title at Eastbourne, battle against Ferrer at Wimbledon, now another title. Nice run just in time for the Olympics.

Andy Murray: 2012 Olympic gold and silver medalist. US Open Champ. Wimbledon champ. Never been prouder of him.

The Brian Baker Story. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction... until Hollywood buys the rights and proceeds to keep screwing the script up.

Was he milking it after the Wimbledon final 2009 when he didn't cry out of respect for the crowd?? Unlike another guy I know that cried...he's a Scottish pusher...what's his name? Mugray?

Roddick is a champion. You can hate but the guy has heart and the confidence to go for his shots which is why he won a slam and Murray never will.

LOL. So that's why Muller faced all those BPs on his serve and peed his pants in the TB.

what the hell you talking bout? respect for who... he was crying and yelled at Fed during his interview about winning however many Wimbledons, shaking his head so much it nearly fell off - go back and look on youtube

never showed one ounce of class that Murray showed a few weeks ago

take off the rose tinted glasses

oi Fedtards, enough of the Muller bashing, the guy as a record 50% as good vs. Nadal in slams as your god!

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

It would've been great had Muller won this match, oh well. But still, at least Gilles won that one US Open encounter when A-Rod was the ****!
