CH Bercuit Final: De Bakker def. Hanescu 6/4 3/6 7/5

De Bakker saved 3 match points (1 on Hanescu's serve). Hanescu was 4/2 40/0* up in the decider.
He lost it from 5/3 up.
Once a choker, always a choker I guess.

De Bakker is back to TOP 200.

Hanescu is still choking

World #1.
.

Some people mistake the Distant Sun for an eternally raging fireball calling for your demise. Just like aliens from outer space. Aliens from other planets. Aliens in galaxies too far away from your own comprehension. Your demise is ultimately irrelevant and meaningless.

Do not question our motives, our objectives, or our qualities. Question your own place in the universe.

such a shame. Had top 15 talent and choked it away, and now the shadow-of-himself hanescu who should still be top 70 puts in losses like this

Good result . De Bakker needed this so he can get back in top 200, he totally deserves it.

As for Victor, this is his third final in a row. I would say that's not bad . He said that he will take two weeks off after Bercuit, which I think is a pretty stupid decision, if he could've kept this form up he would've easily got a spot in the US Open main draw.

Fabrice SANTORO, Richard GASQUET, Roger FEDERER

Simon, Flo Mayer, Granollers, Malisse, the Fog, Phau, Chvojka, Copil

Murray, Del Potro, Tipsarevic, Chardy, Baghdatis, Paire, Blake, Haas, Serra, Mathieu

Thiemo benefits from Hanescu's choking, unexpected.
Still think he is an overrated guy, but top 100 should be his level.

More talented player lost imo

De Bakker is top 50 material. Have no idea why he dropped down so suddenly last year. Good for him to win a title now.
